MILLING

R B Machine currently operates three horizontal CNC machining centers, and thirteen vertical CNC machining centers, with 4-axis capability. Maximum material handling size is approximately 50” X by 20” Y by 18” Z. We’re excited about our newest horizontal machining center, which features a pallet pool system for “lights-out” operation on long-running parts.

Our workhorse vertical machining centers provide a range of capabilities, and we are continuously looking to add flexibility and increased capability. The newest Haas VF-4SS machining centers are 5-axis capable, and we have CAM software and experienced machinists who can make that happen.

TURNING

Seven CNC turning centers offer a wide range of capabilities. We back up capable equipment with a skilled team – our crew is far more than simply a “lathe department”. Current CNC lathes will handle up to 2.625” through spindle bores, with 18” maximum swing and 18” maximum length for large work.

Bar-feeds facilitate simple repeat work on basic CNC lathes. For more demanding projects, four of our CNC turning centers are equipped with live tooling for milling operations, with both Y and C axis capability. Two turning centers are equipped with sub-spindles that can speed up complex parts and lend automation to long runs.
